Funfairs

You know summer is nearly upon us when the local funfairs start cropping up.  The kids LOVE them and start asking to go the moment the signs start appearing.

A couple of weeks ago J & K visited a funfair in Ealing.  C showed her stubborness, especially in clothes selection, when she chose to stay home rather than put leggings on under her dress. J & K had a good time though:

The funfair moved on to our town, so I took the kids while J was in NJ.  Chiara was visiting for the day.

The blow-up slide is always a favorite 'ride', although I find it more than a bit chaotic with all the kids climbing and sliding on one another.  K only made it up for a couple of runs before deciding he had enough.

The kids took turns on the airplane ride and then the carousel.  While riding on the carousel they spotted the trampolines.  So that was our next stop.  They got all rigged up and jumped to their hearts content.  It had started to rain pretty hard by then but the kids didn't seem to mind.
I'm sure these are just the first of many funfairs we'll visit over the next few months.  It's easy to see why the kids love them.  And the one thing I love are all the bright colors.
