Celebration Weekend

This was a busy but fun weekend. It started on Saturday with a visit from Christine and our annual trip to the Sunset magazine festival. The festival is basically one big block party with food & wine vendors plus travel, gardening and cooking demonstrations from the staff and local chefs. I love that we've been so often we spend most of the time just talking about what is different from one year to the next.

After naps, we attended two 2 yr. old bday parties. The first was at cuesta park where C really enjoyed the "big" slide. The next was at A's house where C got to play with all of our D1 friends. The bouncy house was a huge hit with the 2yr old set. The sunglasses were a favor and she loves sportin' them around town.

On Sunday we hung around the house most of the day. In the morning C played with her water table which she thoroughly enjoyed as witnessed by the soaked and totally dirty clothes.


Then in the afternoon, Josh showed off his manly, man skills (which I love!) and attached C's bike seat to my bike. Her first ride was a huge success although there were lots of tears when it ended.


Before dinner, C and I went to our favorite park for some swinging and sand playing. Then we topped off the day with a cone at Rick's. C loves ice cream just as much as I do...Yuuuummmmy!
