Possessive
I'm officially declaring this "possessive week" in our house. All of a sudden, everything is Mommy's, Daddy's, Baby's or Kaka's (one day she'll laugh at the fact that she called herself this!). Daddy's seat, Kaka's milk, Baby's ear...you get the gist. But the most offensive so far occurred this morning when C pointed and said "mommy's butt".

Kaka is the Bulgarian word for older sister (which she is). That's really cool that she got it without hearing it anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteWhen Ava first learned what "heavy" meant, there was a lot of pretending to lift me and saying "heavy". It was not appreciated.
