C's 2nd Birthday

Birthday morning C opened some gifts from mom & dad including a Tonka truck, a few books and some food & utensils for her kitchen:


Then in the afternoon, we celebrated with some of her favorite friends which she's known since she was only weeks old:

At last year's party there was a lot of sitting around and only some of the kids were walking:

This year the kids sat at the table and fed themselves dinner. What a difference a year makes!


C was a bit overwhelmed with all the commotion so she spent most of the afternoon glued to mom and was happiest sitting in her chair, queen of the table (well why not, it was her birthday after all!).

Some of the dads showed up after work which was a nice treat to be able to spend time with everyone's family. We are so fortunate to have found such wonderful friends through Day One.



We finished off the evening with a Carvel cake which we unfortunately missed getting a picture of. But it was yummy!
