1st Birthday Party

On Sunday we had some friends over to celebrate K's first birthday. There wasn't an official 'theme' per se but I focused on primary colors. I made Kaleidescope cupcakes which had a really cool effect inside. Uncle Matt helped me get the colors just right.


I also made #1 sugar cookies although I ran out of time for decorating. Oh well, they tasted good anyway:

The favors were a collection of plant-based paints (just add water) and a rainbow teether for the little ones.

Unfortunately N was sick and couldn't make it to the party but at least she enjoyed the cupcake & favor at home.
