On Dec 23rd we drove to San Jose to experience Christmas in the Park. The park is in the center of downtown and was turned into a winter wonderland with rows of decorated trees and elaborate Christmas exhibits.
C's favorite exhibit by far was the flying penguins.
She also liked the fishing bear in the log cabin.
There was also a few carnival rides for the kids. Unfortunately C didn't meet the height requirement for most of them but we could not leave without taking a few turns on the Carousel.
After walking through the park we ate a late lunch at Gordon Biersch brewery. Yummy burgers for everyone (except K).
It was a fun day out and with just 2 days to go, it definitely helped put us in the Christmas spirit.
