Friends

On Sunday we got together for our last playdate at the GVZ's. The kids were running around the whole time, giggling, laughing, playing games, telling secrets, making up stories. Just being 3 yr. olds and enjoying time with their oldest and dearest friends. Yes, I realize the term 'oldest' may sound silly for a 3 yr. old but our kids have known each other since they were only weeks old and have played together almost weekly since then.

When we were getting ready to leave, C told Ava that this was the last time they would be going to this house. You see, not only are we moving but so are the GVZ's. I think every adult in the place was a bit teary-eyed at that point.

And then the two of them cracked up laughing and C invited Ava to Canada with us. What a mighty fine idea. Let's bring our friends with us wherever we go. And if they can't fit in our luggage then in our hearts will have to do.
