K is absolutely fascinated by airplanes. Whenever he hears an airplane or helicopter, he points up into the sky and grunts. As soon as you acknowledge what's up in the sky, a wide grin spreads across his face. My father in-law compares K to the dog in the movie 'Up'..."squirrel"...."airplane".
My grandmother lives near JFK so there are planes flying overhead every few minutes. When we visited, it was definitely K's version of a candy shop.
And while we're on the subject of airplanes. Here are the two kiddies fast asleep on the plane from SFO to JFK. Unfortunately it took us 4 1/2 hrs. to get to this state. Let's just say it was a long flight for Mom and C.
