L-Cousins

When we were on the east coast, the kids and I spent a few days with my brother Brian and his family. One the day we arrived, my dad and my brother Matt and his family also came over for a visit. This was the first time that all the L-cousins have been together since K was born and we had a great time.

I'm fortunate that both my brother's are amazing cooks so I was 'off duty' for the night. Everything we ate was scrumptious.

The next day, we visited the Bergen County Zoo. Apparently my mom and aunt used to visit this zoo often when my brother was little. It was relatively small for a zoo and there were barnyard animals as well, but it was the perfect size for C & K. I loved the old houses and beautiful grounds too.

Afterwards, we all took a ride on the carousel.

C and K loved spending time with their cousins. Katie, Tara and Megan played with C & K from the time they got up to the time they went to bed.

And what a treat that was for Mommy. I was able to sit and talk with the adults for more than one minute at a time. It felt like I was truly on vacation.
