Each Christmas I buy a new ornament to add to our collection that represents a special memory from the past year. Last year was an Olympic ornament and the year before, a Union Jack ornament to commemorate our move to the UK. This year we added more than one:
Josh's mom loved frogs so we now have a "Joan's frog" ornament that hangs near the top of our tree near our collection of angels.
An ornament from our first trip to Disneyland
And a unicorn and lion, symbols on the United Kingdom's royal coat of arms, to celebrate our London house purchase.
