A Day in SF

Yesterday I spent a fun day with Jan and her family exploring San Francisco.
We started at the Ferry Building, strolling through the farmer's market and stopping at some of the local, artisanal storefronts.
The Ciao Bello gelato was a favorite.
We also watched the ferry's a bit. Maddy thought we were saying "fairies" so she was very disappointed when the ferry appeared on the water and not out of the sky.
Next we walked through the Financial District to Chinatown where we stumbled across a nice park for the girls to play at with a backdrop of the TransAmerica building.
After the park, we visited Golden Gate Fortune Cookies where we saw how fortune cookies were made and were able to taste cookies hot from the oven.
By this point we were all a bit tired so we decided it was time to head back. But not before a ride on a famous SF trolley. I think it was definitely the highlight of the day.
What a fun tour of San Francisco. Sometimes I forget what a wonderful city it is!
