Why?

And just like that, we have entered the "why" phase. Within a span of less than a minute, I got hit with the following questions this morning:

- Why are you drinking water? I'm thirsty

- Why are you thirsty? um...

- Why are you taking a shower? I'm going to work

- Why are you going to work? to make money

- Why do you miss me at work? because I love you and you're fun to hang out with

- Why are my pajama's inside out? you took them off that way

The list goes on and on...

I'm usually the patient one when it comes to dealing with the kids but this line of questioning is actually right up J's alley. He has a LOT more random bits of facts and information stored in his head and he actually likes explaining the "why's".
