For the last two years, I've interviewed C for her Birthday Book. Last year it was a bit hard to hold her attention. But this year was a totally different story. When I was finished she wanted me to keep asking her more questions. Some highlights from our session and my commentary:
What is your favorite color? PinkWhat is your favorite book? Journey of the Gnoble Narble and my school book
What is your favorite toy? my doctor stuff (I call BS on this one...I think it's just the first thing that popped into her mind. So my followup question...)
If you were going on a trip and could only bring one toy what would it be? I would bring no toys because they would get lost (can you guess where she's heard that?)
What is your favorite number? 25
What is your favorite song? ABC'sWhat is your favorite restaurant/out-to-eat place? sainsbury cafe (sainsbury is our local supermarket - apparently there is a cafe inside that J takes her to. who knew?)
What is your favorite thing to do? I like to go fishing and go to my school park
What is your favorite place to go? school
Who are your friends? balti, maya, ethan, chiara
What do you need to go to sleep at night? light turned off (and a million kisses of all types - family, fish, real, eskimo and blow kisses)
What do you like to wear? spotty pajamas (which happened to be what she was wearing when I interviewed her. I would add that she's very into dresses these days. And for the last few weeks, she's been wearing her snow white dress around the house pretty much every day.)
What do you want to be when you grow up? an Angry Witch (her answer might have something to do with the fact that she's playing the evil queen from Snow White in her school play.)
