That's what I call service (Maui)

Normally we wouldn't stay in a place so posh as the Fairmont but we got a good deal and were able to use some AMEX points that were going untouched. I have to admit, the service was pretty spectacular. A few examples:

- being greeted by lei's AND juice. A nice touch.

- the first time we went to the pool we asked someone if we could put chairs on the grass. The reply, " of course, how many do you want, I'll go get them for you." And in two shakes, the chairs were there and we were all set up.

- we bought a blow-up float for the kids to use. Soon after I started blowing it up I was asked "would you like us to do that for you"? um...not sure...I'm feeling light-headed.

- when we went out to the pool in the morning with the stroller & our gear, an attendant walked up to us and asked, "do you want me to bring over a pack and play for the baby?' We should have asked if that came with a sitter too.

- at breakfast one morning, K was a little snotty and of course, both J and I forgot tissues. I stooped so low as to wipe his nose on his shirt on the walk over. As soon as we sat down the waitress said "oh poor baby, he has a little cold, let me bring tissues over for you." Thank you.

- throughout the day attendants walk around the pool area handing out cold wet towels and fresh pineapple slices. Don’t mind if I do. C particularly enjoyed the pineapple slice snacks.
